Volunteers required to work alongside the organisation’s reception and admin department. Providing administrative support across the organisation.
This is a good role for anyone interested in reception and admin work who would like to gain experience and/or to do something rewarding that fills the day.
Tasks include:
◾ Answering and transferring calls when admin staff unavailable (lunch, breaks and sickness)
◾ Opening and sorting post
◾ Photocopying
◾ Filing
◾ Setting up meeting room
◾ Greeting people
Ideally volunteers interested in this role will:
◾ have a good telephone manner
◾ have strong communication skills
◾ be I.T. literate
◾ be able to keep up to date records
◾ have good time management
◾ have the ability to empathise.
Volunteers are required to cover Monday to Friday, flexible hours, so we will be recruiting several volunteers for this role.
Volunteers can expect a full induction and role specific training, with ongoing support.
