Do you want to meet new friends? Try out new activities? Or just get out of the house?
We have a range of groups supporting disabled young people and adults to join community social activities.
Join us, you’re in Good Company!
We are a fully accessible social group for disabled adults (over 18) living in Cheshire. We meet on a regular basis during the evening in Cheshire West and sometimes have day-trips during a weekend.
You can come without your carer if you want to, and our fully qualified staff team will look after all your needs with dignity and respect. We can give medication, personal care and 1-1 behaviour support. You’ll also have the opportunity to become a member of the steering group, helping us to plan and develop the group. There are loads of great activities on offer, including meals out, theatre trips, theme nights, party nights, craft events, cookery skills and sports events.
Don’t just take our word for how good the group is, read the comments we’ve had from the young people themselves and their families:
“I like going to Good Company because I can meet my friends and do activities I can’t do on my own. I have done things I didn’t think I could do and lots of new activities.”
“The staff are nice, and it makes me happy every week to go to the club. My confidence and my social skills are better because of Good Company. I miss it when it’s not on. It makes me feel like other young people.”
“X’ is really enjoying the sessions and she is getting so much from attending and confidence is continuing to grow; Thank you to you all for all the time you put in for the sessions. Thank you, Mel and Team, for everything you all do amazing job for our young people.”
“I like having the support of the members and staff sometimes members can support me”
“This service and the support are excellent. It is a major part of ‘X’ care.”
