Arrangement of Care & Support Service – Jason’s Story

“It’s not all about the Care, it’s about our Family”

Jason* is a young disabled man who lives with his parents. They were struggling to manage his care on their own and needed help setting up a sustainable arrangement that would work for the whole family.

Our Arrangement of Care and Support Service worked with Jason and his parents to understand what they actually needed rather than just what was offered. We helped them recruit Personal Assistants, set up a rota that gave Jason’s parents proper breaks, and navigated the funding paperwork.

The family now has a setup that supports Jason’s independence while giving his parents their own time back. Jason has taken on more responsibility for managing his own PAs, which has been a big step for his confidence.
