Arthur’s* case came to us via a referral from the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) for a Personal Health Budget. Following a road accident several years ago, Arthur has complex health needs that require a carefully managed care package.
Our team worked with the family to set up the PHB, recruit a team of Personal Assistants with the right skills for Arthur’s needs, and arrange the specialist training his team required. We also helped the family understand their rights and responsibilities as PHB holders.
Arthur’s care is now stable, and the family have a setup they can rely on. Regular reviews make sure the package keeps pace with any changes in his needs.
