🆕 Finance Officer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the organisation, supporting the Finance Manager with the production of monthly management accounts, and assisting with the year-end process.   

You will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, have the ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.

You must
◾ Have experience of working in a finance department, maintaining the accounting records.
◾ Be part qualified/qualified with recognised accountancy body (e.g. AAT, CIMA, ACCA etc.) or qualified by experience.
◾ Have knowledge of Sage 50 accounts and Microsoft Office
◾ Have the ability to meet milestone targets and goals to achieve outcomes.
◾ Have the ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines.
◾ Be self-motivated, with drive, energy and enthusiasm.
◾ Have a high level of Excel skills.
◾ Be committed to equality and diversity.

      🆕 Play/Youth Worker – Minimum 4-6 Hours, Holiday Time, Zero Hours Contract, £12.74 per Hour

      Do you want to build a den? Have fun with music and movement? Cook a new dish?

      Do you want to make a real difference to young people with lived experience of disability or long-term health conditions?

      We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Community Engagement Team and support young people to have fun during school holidays…

      Role:

      You will use your skills and ability to connect with young people to support them to take part in creative, fun and accessible activity sessions.

      You will need to:
      ◾ Be confident to provide high quality group and 1-1 support to young people aged 5-18 years (including personal care)
      ◾ Ideally have previous experience working with young people with lived experience of disability
      ◾ Be able to use own initiative
      ◾ Have lots of energy and enthusiasm
      ◾ Have some knowledge of safeguarding

      Our activity sessions will be taking place in Chester, and will be held during school holidays for May (1 week), Summer (5 weeks) and October (1 week). We are therefore looking for energetic, dynamic individuals to join us on a Zero Hours Contract to help out with the groups running throughout the holidays for the remainder of this year (minimum 4-6 hours per week).
      You will receive training and a full induction beforehand.
