Staff Update: Key points from Manager’s Meeting Feb 2019

Annual Leave ReconciliationAll managers to advise staff to take.

Staff trainingDiscussed new training procedure. Some training will only be required every three years instead of yearly. All initial training should be completed on a face to face course and subsequent training on line.  Vicki will email all staff details on this.

Meeting roomsJon has reorganised the downstairs staff room for meetings for tenants only. Disability Positive will be charging for using Board room for non Disability Positive meetings

Training feedbackPlease can we remind all members of staff to behave in a professional manner when attending training.  Sessions are attended by staff, old and new, and volunteers, we wouldn’t want to give these people the wrong impression. Please note that the leaders of the training have taken time out of the schedules to plan and provide this training and deserve respect for their work they do. Please treat them accordingly.

Case recording overviewMel Hinde to offer two training sessions on case note writing to ensure these are accurate, appropriate and that we are able to release the notes in any subject access requestPlease note:When adding new case, always check there is not already one there.When aware that client has died, please mark caseworker as deceased.

Emotional Resilience training20th March 10.15 to 2.15 in the office, names to Vicki

Renumeration policy2% cost of living rise will be given based on grades from 1st April. If pay is above advertised post, staff member will not receive a rise. Everyone will receive a letter confirming grade increase and the individuals pay.Aprils pay will come with a personalised statement of benefits.
