Not all public toilets are open – includes accessible toilets!

We know not all disabilities are visible, and those who live with Crohns disease, (IBS) Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Colitis type conditions are advised that if they brave the high street it would be best if they check that the toilet facilities are open first.

Not all public toilet facilities have opened up yet, worryingly this also includes accessible facilities that you use with a RADAR key!
Even some accessible stand alone facilities have been removed, the kind that you may find in rural areas or lay-by’s.

Understandably they are closed to protect the public and prevent the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) but it’s best to be pre-warned.
