Volunteer/s required to help manage our Learning Service. You will be working with our Arrangement for Care and Support Team, helping clients access training for their personal assistants.
Volunteering will be from the office or home following an initial training period. You will have access to the Learning Service emails where all training requests are held, you will action requests logging them and adding information to our case recording system. Following actioning any new requests you’ll then follow up on training that has taken place and will obtain feedback for any face to face trainers used. You will ensure records are up to date and invoices are checked and forwarded to the Manager.
Ideally volunteers interested in this role will be organised, have a good telephone manner and strong communication skills, be I.T. literate, can keep up to date records, have good time management and the ability to empathise.
Volunteers/s are required for one day a week, this could be spread over a couple of days or could be completed by two volunteers.
This is a good opportunity for someone that likes planning and organising and wants to support disabled people to live independently.
Volunteers can expect a full induction and role specific training, with ongoing support.
