Run London Marathon in support of Disability Positive

For the first time, we have secured a place at London Marathon through the charity ballot!

This is a huge opportunity for us as a charity to increase awareness of our work, while raising vital funds to support our services.

We’re now looking for someone to run the marathon in support of Disability Positive on Sunday 27 April.

We know how difficult it is to secure a place and expect there to be a lot of interest. We’re asking anyone interested in the place to complete the below application before Friday 13 September. We will then use your answers to choose one runner.

We’ve set our minimum sponsorship at £1750, which is level with other charities of our size. We know that this is a lot to raise, and so will be on hand to provide fundraising support in the lead up to the marathon. There will also be a registration fee of £100 to secure the place.

Still interested?

Complete the below form before the 13th September, and we’ll be in touch with our decision on Monday 16 September.

Alternatively, if you’ve secured your own marathon place through the ballot and would like to discuss running in support of Disability Positive, please email Lisa Cormack at lisac@disabilitypositive.org.
