We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement protesting against the murder of George Floyd in the USA and institutionalised racism around the world.
Disability Positive is a charity based in Cheshire. We provide services, opportunities and a voice to people living with disability and long-term health conditions, and their families.
We are committed to ending discrimination and working towards our vision of an equal and inclusive society.
We also understand that disabled people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds face further exclusion and disadvantage, and we want to see that end.
We will make sure that within Disability Positive we:
- Challenge racism in all its forms, in everything we do
- Work with others to achieve this
- Strengthen our links with BAME organisations in Cheshire and beyond
